What is SitemapOps?

SitemapOps is the sitemap generation and index policy management service for the PlatPhorm News network. It provides intelligent URL classification, lastmod optimization, and integration with search engine submission workflows.

Index Policy Engine

Declarative rules to control which URLs appear in sitemaps based on patterns, content type, and metadata.

URL Classification

Automatic classification into sitemap classes (news, evergreen, author, tag, etc.) with appropriate change frequencies.

Lastmod Optimization

Smart lastmod handling with hash-based change detection and configurable update frequency policies.
